Near the beach n la rumble

The lighting is bad , making the room older. It should use the soft bulb to show the stylish side of the declaration

I liked the proximity to the beach and also to bars, cafes and shops-It's location was fantastic. The reception was open all hours. the staff were friendly and the rooms clean.

I had previously emailed about parking however the people on the desk didnt seem to know where the best parking was-or anything about my email in which I was told there was suitable parking nearby-I wasnt told it would cost in excess on €30/day-this would have been useful!! The lady on the reception didnt speak any english and my spanish is poor-I'm just a tourist-she was friendly though. The rooms could be noisy sometimes however at this price i wouldn't expect much more from them and overall enjoyed my stay.

We loved the fantastic location of Pension Segre, just a short stroll away from the Picasso Museum, Las Ramblas, and the beach. It was so convenient to have amazing restaurants right next door. The daily room cleaning service was a nice touch, ensuring a clean and comfortable stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its prime location and satisfactory services.

Hotel staff is polite and helpful, location is excellent (5min walk from La Rambla), rooms and bathrooms are kept more or less clean. Good choice if you're looking for something cheap and simple.

I loved the convenience of being able to walk to all the main sights and the fact that the hotel was affordable. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

Who needs pets or service animals when you have mental old men at the reception with an attitude problem?

Nice and helpful personnell (they kept our bags for additional half a day, let us use the shower even after checking-out). Good location in terms of point in the city. Rather clean, good bathroom.

Quite small room (not the one from pictures!), no any style. High level of noise during the night (bars in the close neighbourhood, traffic etc.).

The hotel is very close to the Beach. Within a short walk you end up in Barceloneta.

The family Room we stayed is indeed a room. Pay attention, it's a room with 6 beds, so somehow like a dorm in which everybody sleeps. It is quite noisy in the night because it's in the Ciutat Vella, where there are always something going on despite the time of the day. So prepare your ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Expensive and very over priced for grotty facilities old decor old tiled floors, loud street noise and smelly drains and cleaning ladies that complain when you lie in. I understand that this place advertises itself as a basic hostel that is secure in a good location and does what it says and they did get the Wi Fi fixed after the first night but I feel this hotel would be good value if it was half the price I paid and I feel ripped off.

Location: The hotel's location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter felt like being in the center of a vibrant maze, filled with charming streets and hidden gems.

Receptionist attitude: Unaccommodating staff.

Location is the only advantage. I was on boat show so it is 100 m away from the hotel.

No heating in november - very cold at night. toilets only in the corridor, not in room.
